Tools

To draw is to select, to select is to interpret, to interpret is to propose.

Solà-Morales, M. de. In Lotus international. (1979). 1st ed. Milan: Gruppo Editoriale Electa.

We believe that in order to understand, represent and act over the contemporary built environment, it is crucial to engage directly with the historical, social and political issues present in the landscape and urban territories that we work with.

To do so, we act through a practice-led research that is essentially based on immersive fieldwork, which is focused on exploring interdisciplinary fieldwork tools capable of strengthening our own capacities of reading, engaging, interpreting and act through the challenges and concerns that we find within the built environment. In our practice we try to develop a specific and not constraint methodology which experiments and expands the use of the following tools: Observe; Map; Engage; Imagine.
